To say the least, these are disconcerting economic times. Unemployment is at record highs and continuing to rise. Long-term unemployment is at a level which has not been seen since 1948. Businesses and individuals have pulled in their horns, understandably so, and cut back on spending. (more…)
I recently read a Boston Herald article about the high unemployment rate for new college graduates. According to the article, and numerous others as well, employers are hiring 22% fewer new college graduates than in the past. (more…)
