Exciting choices in treatment options may be on the horizon for persons with Multiple Sclerosis. For the first time ever, we are one step closer to an oral medication as a treatment option. Merck Serono recently submitted a request to the European Medicines Agency for the approval of oral Cladribine for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. A request to the FDA in the USA is expected soon. It’s possible that this treatment option may be available as early as 2010.
