Today was Grandparent’s Day at my grandchildren’s school.  As I dressed to go spend my day with them, I deliberately chose a red blouse with USA emblazoned in sequins on the front.  Why the red blouse?  Why wear the sequined “USA” for an elementary school function? Happy Fourth of July America – I Miss You

Today is July 4th – our Independence Day.   As I write this post, I’m cooking fajitas, cutting up watermelon and waiting on the arrival of children and grandchildren to celebrate.  I love this country and this holiday.  My family immigrated to America in 1645.  (more…)
